Leading UK vitamin, mineral and supplement manufacturer, Bee Health is continuing to invest in the latest machinery to ensure it can meet rising demand and offer the best service and quality in the industry.

The company has invested in a world-class optical inspection system for its softgel plant. The only system of its kind the UK, the new grading machine uses cameras to inspect every softgel for colour, area, width, length, and shape to detect, remove and record defects that were previously picked out manually.

Steve Ryan, managing director of Bee Health, commented: “The new softgel grading machine will increase capacity to over 280,000 per hour.”

Later this month Bee Health is installing two new tablet presses, taking the company total to twelve.

“This investment demonstrates our commitment to the latest world class machinery to give our customers added confidence and the best available quality,” added Mr Ryan.
