Leaders in soft gels
INW’s leadership in soft gel spans capacity and quality, with BRCGS AA+ grading, having first invested in UK soft gel manufacturing in 2015.
Recent upgrades to the INW Bee Health plant, which includes new machinery for grading, sorting, and polishing, have primarily focused on automation.
The goods-out process, previously manual, has been fully automated to improve efficiency and consistency in the production process.
With direct processing capabilities, a new drying tunnel specifically for vegan soft gels, and a dedicated room for blending vegan materials, INW’s manufacturing capacity has expanded for the growing vegan and vegetarian markets.
Large-scale capacity
INW Bee Health supports soft gel production for more than 1,000,000 units, with 24/5 and the packing hall supporting 300k units per week.
Depending upon the formulation or size of bespoke softgel products (bovine and vegan varieties), Our MOQS range from 500K – 1M quantities. Oval and oblong soft gel manufacturing is supported, from sizes 20 oblong to 26 oblong, and 5 to 16 ovals, to support all product requirements.
£1M soft gel investment
2024’s £1M investment in the INW Bee Health soft gel facility sees vegan soft gel manufacturing made possible for the first time, with a dedicated room for preparing, filling, processing, and packing vegan capsules.
Vegan soft gel capsule material is blended and processed directly to the machine, ensuring zero possibility of contamination, with automation for maximum uptime.

Soft gel supplements
INW Bee Health produces soft gel fish oil and Omega-3 fatty acids, oil-based multivitamins, vitamin D, vitamin E and plant-based oils, such as flaxseed and evening primrose oil, as a white label contract manufacturer.
Bovine versions are the most popular, but introducing vegan soft gel facilities brings new market possibilities to clients offering plant-based supplements.
Health and supplement brands offering hardshell capsules and tablets can provide soft gel alongside these delivery systems.
The body easily absorbs the liquid or oil-based contents in the soft gel compared to powder or tablet forms, and the size and shape of the soft gel—e.g., oval or oblong—impacts absorption time and makes it easier or harder to swallow.
